The Canadian dollar got support due to optimistic reports on the real estate market. Investors are still waiting for new information on the tax reform in the US and the Fed’s new chairman. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand, as expected, retained the key interest rate at the previous level of 1.75%. The regulator plans to adhere to the current rate of the monetary policy. China published mixed statistics. In October, the consumer price growth slowed from 0.5% to 0.1%. Nevertheless, on a yearonyear basis, the indicator was revised from 1.6% to 1.9%.
The Energy Information Agency reported that over the past week, crude oil inventories in the US increased by 2.237 million barrels. Experts expected the decline of the indicator by 2.876 million barrels. At the moment, the “black gold” prices are stable. Futures for the WTI crude oil are being traded in the range of $56.75$57.00 per barrel.
